Rotonda Mano Ferran PizaThe 75-meter-high sculpture by local artist Ferran Pizá was inaugurated in 2005 and represents a hand that in turn becomes a farming tool. This majestic installation is much more than a piece of art; it is a deeply felt tribute to the farmers of Sa Pobla who have dedicated their lives to cultivating the marsh for generations.
Ferran Pizá is a renowned and prestigious local painter and sculptor who has left a mark on the Sa Pobla community. In fact, the town has recognized Pizá's talent and contribution to the art world on several occasions.
In 2015 he received the Pobla Golden Shield, the highest distinction awarded by the Town Council, a recognition that highlights not only his artistic excellence but also his cultural and social impact on the community. Additionally, in 2021 he was honored at the 15th edition of the cultural event Art i Copes, an event that Pizá himself promoted.
This cultural event, held annually in October, is a platform where local and visiting artists can showcase their works and share ideas. Art i Copes has become an anticipated event that fosters creativity and cultural exchange in Sa Pobla.
