Escola GraduadaDesigned by architect Guillem Forteza Pinya, construction began in 1927, and it was inaugurated on September 10, 1929. It follows the regionalist style with Italianate elements.
The central body of the building is defined by padded edges, with a round arch portal and a window on each side. The first floor features a gallery of three semicircular arches supported by two columns of Ionic tradition and two attached columns with a balustrade at the base.
The inauguration was a significant event attended by the political and educational authorities of the island, as well as Infante Jaime de Borbón y Battemberg, son of Alfonso XIII, and the President of the Council of Ministers Miguel Primo de Rivera. In honor of him, the school bore his name until 1989 when it was changed to its current name.
