Es Rafal

Pere Siquier i Pizà was mayor of sa Pobla in 1915, and Joan Siquier was a well-known organist of the parish for many years.

A family of landowners with estates such as the Rafal estate located between Sa Pobla and Búger.

The manor, with an entrance on El Asalto street and a large door on Escola street, dates back to 1820.

It was acquired by the Town Hall of sa Pobla and, after a renovation, was inaugurated as a public municipal service center (library, radio, etc.) on October 1, 2010.

The courtyard of this house today corresponds to the Plaça de Alexandre Ballester.
