A part of the house was designated in 1912 for the installation of the first electric power plant in sa Pobla.

It was built by engineer Enric Ordines i Cruelles.

Between 1903 and 1905, electricity had already been generated in the town, lighting the Plaça Major and the town hall.

Sa Pobla is a charming village in Mallorca, known for its farmland, especially potatoes.
