Apotecaria de Can ComesInaugurated on June 15, 1913, in modernist style; owned by Jaume Bonnín (a) Barones. During the 1918 flu in Sa Pobla, it played a prominent role for the benefit of the 'poblers'.
In the 1940s, it became known as Can Comes, after its new owner, Nicolau Comes. The building occupies a corner lot and is structured with a ground floor and two upper floors.
The corner has the most decorative elements, such as alternating blue and white tiles. The rest of the facade is dominated by symmetry.
Local authors. History and literature: However, everyone born in Sa Pobla will always be a 'pobler', and they will possess that innate vocation of having to love, honor, and serve their town.
Sa Pobla always. By Guillem Muntaner i Gelabert; priest, doctor of philosophy, teacher, professor at various universities.
