Casa ConsistorialOriginally intended as a town hall, it was a project by Joan Sureda i Villalonga. The construction began in 1812, and the stonemason Feliu Ballester completed it in 1823, although the official inauguration dates to July 26, 1822.
In the center of the facade are three semicircular arches with sandstone voussoirs and pilasters. Since then, it has become the primary political and administrative space in the town.
Between 1987 and 1990, the building was renovated by glazing the arches on the ground floor to let light into the lobby. Until the 1930s, the 'saig' (guard) and his family lived there.
