Es Cavallets

Municipal building started in 1878 by the master builder Rafel Quetgles. Over time, it has been a school for boys and girls, a prison (called 'es Fondet'), a butcher's shop, a cultural center, and municipal offices. In 1950, it ceased to function as a butcher's shop, and in 1954, it was adapted for a chess club and cultural center, which remained until 1991.

The doll school on the first floor was moved to the new Vialfàs school in 1957. The basement is used as an exhibition hall. Local authors.

History and literature: In front of Es Cavallets, in the squares of the town, everything was discussed. Fights, whether they started in the 'marjal' or anywhere in the town, always ended in the square. It was the button that drove the turns of life.
